We feed hungry elementary school children, every weekend.

Did you know that all throughout the U.S., even in the wealthiest communities, there are children who don’t eat on the weekends?

It’s true.

The children we serve eat all their weekday meals at school through government subsidized programs.

On the weekends, they don’t eat.

Imagine what Monday morning is like for a child who hasn’t eaten in two days and for an adult who is trying to teach.

Good Eats is addressing this with an approach so simple, you’ll wonder why you didn’t think of it first.

Here’s how it works…

Every week, community volunteers pack unmarked backpacks with breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks for Saturday and Sunday.

On Friday, the kids pick up a backpack and take it home for a weekend of healthy, wholesome eating.

On Monday, they bring the pack back to school and it starts all over again.

It’s simple. And it works.

Every Dollar Delivers

We run a tight ship.

We’re a lean and intelligent organization that puts every dollar directly into the bellies of hungry children.

Metaphorically speaking, of course.

The money we raise buys food. That food goes into little bellies.

You get it.

It’s direct impact at its finest.

No one on our team takes a paycheck.

We consider the work we do an honor and a privilege.

Every person who donates dollars has a direct impact

on a child’s health, happiness and future success.

How good does that feel?
